Democracy or Republic

Read the Constitution you will not find the word "democracy" anywhere, it simply is not there. Why, simple America is not a democracy, it is a Republic there is a huge difference. Remember the pledge of allegiance? "To the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all"

Dictionary.com defines "Democracy" as: 1. a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by.

2. political or social equality; democratic spirit. (notice the word social as in socialism - where everyone is equal - not the equality the constitution speaks of but more accurately whats yours is mine or mare accurately what yours in theirs)

3. the common people of a community as distinguished from any privileged class; the common people with respect to their political power.

Republic is defines as:

1. a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.

2. a state in which the head of government is not a monarch or other hereditary head of state.

Since America is a Republic and not a democracy, why would we try to export democracy to muslim nations around the world. More importantly, by what right does the Federal Government think it is appropriate or right to try and make any people group a democracy?

They have no right. They have no right to use my tax money and give it to others... and then tell us we are Un-American if we do not go along.
