5 Reasons Why Ron Paul is the ONLY National Security Candidate

Ron Paul is not simply the anti-war candidate. He is also the national security candidate. This is an important truth that is overlooked.

The wars in the Middle East have been sold to the American people as “national security” wars, but this is a big lie. The wars have nothing to do with America’s national security interests. So, the anti-war position is the same as the pro-national security position.

Washington’s Blog shined a light on the real reasons for America’s endless wars in the article, “Are The Middle East Wars Really About Forcing the World Into Dollars and Private Central Banking?”

Ron Paul is the world’s biggest opponent of private central banking, the fiat dollar system, and the endless war on terror. His resistance has a moral dimension for sure, but his main argument is that America has not benefited from the wars either economically, militarily, or politically.

Throughout his presidential campaign Dr. Paul has repeated the point that America’s national security and economic health are being ruined by Washington’s multiple unsustainable and costly wars.

But Dr. Paul’s rejection of the war on terror mythos is not the only reason why he should be considered as the national security candidate. He puts the national security of America ahead of politics and party every single time, no matter the issue. Whether the issue is a war against Iran or indefinite detention in America, Dr. Paul is consistently for the defense of America’s national security.

It is clear that Dr. Paul is the only serious national security candidate in the 2012 presidential race. Below I’ve listed five issues which showcase Dr. Paul’s national security credentials.

1. Dr. Paul agrees with senior members of the U.S. Military that a war against Iran is a bad idea, and with the U.S. intelligence community that Iran does not have a nuclear bomb. His political foes in his party are confusing America’s national security interests with Israel’s national security interests. And in doing so, they are severely undermining the economic health and security of the United States.

2. Dr. Paul’s opposition to the indefinite detention provisions in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) are grounded in the belief that unconstitutional laws threaten America’s national security. Earlier this week, he introduced legislation to repeal the section of the NDAA that allows the military to snatch up American citizens in the night and keep them hostage in secret prisons without trial. This government power will be abused and the social fabric of America will be destroyed. As Washington’s Blog stated in an article headline,“Indefinite Detention Hurts Our National Security and Increases the Risk of Terrorism.”

3. In August 2010, Admiral Mike Mullen, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said U.S. national debt poses the biggest threat to America’s national security.

Dr. Paul has done the most among political leaders in raising public awareness about the rapidly growing U.S. national debt and the risks of U.S. bankruptcy. He is the only true anti-debt candidate, which proves that he truly cares about the economic security and social well-being of America, unlike every other Republican candidate and President Obama.

On January 18, 2012, Senator Jim DeMint endorsed Ron Paul’s views on foreign policy and national debt, saying:

“If we spread ourselves too thin around the world were not gonna be able to defend the homeland, particularly with the level of debt that we have right now. It’s foolish for us to think that we can have military bases all over the world, spend billions of dollars when we’re going broke back home. It just isn’t gonna happen.”

4. Ron Paul’s defense of America’s national security begins at the borders. He says as President he will protect America’s borders and restore the legal paths to citizenship in the United States. His pro-legal immigration/pro-border security platform is in line with the true values and national security interests of America.

5. The foundations of America’s national security are the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, especially the first amendment and the second amendment. They are currently under attack by the hijacked government, which is an attack on America’s national security. Dr. Paul will restore the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, which would significantly improve the security of the United States.

America would not be America without a free press and an armed citizenry. If both were destroyed, which is a very real possibility if internet censorship and police state legislation are not resisted, then the fire of liberty that is America will be extinguished forever.

"Jabba the Newt Gingrich" Cancels Campaign Event Due No Attendance

"Jabba the Newt" Gingrich has cancelled a campaign appearance in South Carolina because of poor attendance.

The Republican presidential candidate was scheduled to speak to the Southern Republican Leadership on Friday. A campaign spokesman told reporters that he would no longer be appearing due to poor attendance.

There were just a few dozen people in the audience at the College of Charleston's arena, where the event was taking place. The conference has suffered from low attendance all week.

Conversely Ron Paul is gaining huge support in South Carolina! Yup, and we're supposed to believe that Gingrich is the front runner? Don't believe the mainstream media fabrications...

The Showdown at the Virgina Corral; Only Two on Ballot

It is the showdown that 46% of American voters, according to the latest CNN poll, have been wanting. This year on the Virginia ballot the only names that will appear are Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Virgina voting rules are very strict and very well known. 10,000 registered voter signatures are required. But Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry did not meet the requirements and thus will not be on the ballot.

The three-judge panel of the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit unanimously ruled against them, saying the candidates knew the rules well in advance and that the requirements have been on the books for years.

"If we were to grant the requested relief, we would encourage candidates for president who knew the requirements and failed to satisfy them to seek at a tardy and belated hour to change the rules of the game," the appeals court said.

"This would not be fair to the states or to other candidates who did comply with the prescribed processes in a timely manner and it would throw the presidential nominating process into added turmoil," it concluded in a 22-page ruling.

In short HA-HA Sucks for you. Finally we can have a true debate and election. Ruling class vs common man, global banker "Goliath" vs average Joe "David".

I will bet you $100 that Ron Paul will still be stuck in the corner at the Virgina Debate. Better yet maybe they will cancel the Virgina debate altogether...

President Obama Seeks to Riaise Debt Limit to 16 Trillion

As if economic woes weren't bad enough, in the United States, President Barack Obama formally notified Congress on Thursday January 12 that he plans a $1.2 trillion increase in the U.S. debt limit, the proposed increase would push the debt ceiling to $16.394 trillion dollars.

Republican Senator Orrin Hatch of the Senate Finance Committee asked Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to give details of the "extraordinary measures" being taken to stay under the limit, which has already been increased by $900 billion since last summer's debt fight to $15.194 trillion.

Notice that phrase "extraordinary measures". If the country can't be run on 15, 12, 8, or 2 Trillion it WILL NEVER be able to run on 16 Trillion. It seems as though Obama s running the country as his own private piggy bank.

It is plain to see that President Obama has absolutely no idea what he is doing as President.

When it comes to running a country, as it is with a typical business or corporation, it takes no skill to come up with some plan that will cost a fortune and is basically a gamble as to the effeciency of the plan. Nut it takes real leadership and vision when a leader can emerge and use what resources are available and dig the entity out of the whole it is in.

Again, it takes no skill and in fact is a sign of no skill, to just simply try and spend your way out of a dent problem.

I really really hope that this is the stray that breaks the camels back, politically speaking, and America see's what is happening and acts! One single act can fix all our woes and that act is to elect Ron Paul to President of the United States.

I do not say the previous lightly as I have always been very leery skeptical even of politicians. Especially in light of my history working as a Media Communications adviser for a major media company. I have always payed attention to political messages, analyzed them, and reported what they were "really" saying, let me add that most of the time politicians do not say anything and I mean that literally, it truly is sad that the American people are so easily swede by such fancy pants speaking.

The point is of all the politicians that I have covered only one consistently speaks truth and not double speak... and that is Ron Paul.

American Elections - The biggest failure in History

No I am not a fascist, communist, antisemitic, jihadist, or any "ism" you can come up with... But the voting system we use in America is a joke. What I mean by voting system is a non-secure, hand count, retired old man hand delivering the count to an old lady who uses her rotary phone to call in the numbers system. I must add the electronic voting system is no better. It is the most open source set of classified set of information in the world. You would think something as important as who gets elected would be safe, secure, and reliable. But it is not. These things are handled by volunteers, old retired hell hath no fury-scorn volunteers. The electronic system is no better. The electronic data is transferred about to and fro with very little security available for anyone to take it, manipulate, and determine the outcomes as they see fit. Yes it is sad. But it is true. If we as American citizens can't come together and elect someone, as a whole and stand behind him as he fights those who wish to take our country by apathy, we will soon fall! Vote Ron Pal 2012. No matter what your belief or stance on a subject the Constitution allows for them and Ron Paul will let you live and let live. We need to stand behind him and let him, let us follow the constitution and live and let live...

New Hampshire Debate - Time each Candidate took Speaking, Media Bias?

After the Iowa debate I noticed certain candidates were allowed more time to speak, more questions were asked of them and more time was spent discussing them.

The time each candidate took speaking at the New Hampshire debate are graphed and shown in the picture...

The numbers are...

1. Mitt Romney spoke for 14minutes 28 seconds.
2. Rick Santorum spoke for 10 minutes 21 seconds
3. Newt Gingrich spoke for 8 minutes thirty three seconds.
4. Rick Perry spoke for7 minutes and 6 seconds.
5. Jon Huntsman spoke for 6 minutes 21 seconds.
6. Ron Paul spoke for 6 minutes 10 seconds.

How is it Mitt Romney was allowed over double the time of Rick Perry, Jon Huntsman, and Ron Paul?

Sometimes the candidate was allowed to speak on a issue, sometimes they were asked a question about an issue but in this case more time was actually spent asking the individual candidates how they felt, in one way or another, about Mitt Romney.

Say what you will, but the numbers don't lie. Is it some sort of media bias or did it just happen to workout that the candidates spoke in order of how much the media likes them in general?

I hope the general population can see through this and still get to the issues and vote for the best candidate...

Corporate Executive vs. Medical Doctor - Who will make the better President

After Saturday's Republican Presidential debate one thing is clear to everyone; five out of six candidates LOVE to talk about themselves... But the bigger issue, today, is credentials, who has them who doesn't, whose are better whose are worse. There are basically two candidate teams everyone falls into.

• The candidate was at one time a successful business and corporate executive.

Or

• The candidate was a Medical Doctor.

So who, generally speaking, would make a better President of the United States, a businessman or a Medical Doctor? Let's examine the two A businessman's success is defined by his ability to make the business profitable; weather for an owner or stockholders, money is the marker of success. A doctor is successful when he fulfills his oath to "do no harm" and also heals or treats his patients in a manner they are pleased with. So who would be a better Commander in Chief? To answer that question your definition of a successful United States needs to be answered. First, the Government is not a business. Repeat! The Government is not a business. You see a business, by definition, operates to make money. The government's goal is not to make money rather, as the Constitution points out, the primary function is

1. Defend the shores

2. Establish a system of currency

3. Deliver the mail

4. Protect individual rights

THAT'S IT!

So in today's United States... An effective government is not one that makes a lot of money or controls every aspect of its citizens life. Rather, it stays small enough so as to allow its citizens their rights.

So who would make a better President of the United States a businessman or a doctor. Well if you want to grow the U.S. and take more of its citizens money (making it a successful business) then a businessman. However, if you want to the government to be more like an insurance policy, something you never think about or hear about or see but am really glad that you have it when the time arises, then a Medical Doctor would make a much better President.

The United States should be so small when it comes to the daily lives of its citizens that we don't even know its there. But so large in term of defense that no country on earth would ever think of invading our lands.

For these reasons and more I urge all citizens to make a real statement this November and vote Ron Paul for President 2012.

Let's cut the head off this Government monster that is destroying our country and get back to the liberty lifestyle our forefathers envisioned when they committed treason against the throne of England and started these great United States!

The defining moment of the New Hampshire debate marked a clear victory for Ron Paul and set him above the current "front runner" Mitt Romney.

This moment came as Mitt Romney was asked a simple question about the Constitutionality of an issue, something as Commander and Chief one would think he would know, of course he knows very little about the Constitution and decided to pound the last nail into his campaign coffin when Romney turned and referring to Ron Paul said "why don't we ask our Constitution expert". The crowd roared with agreement and the debate was over, as far as I was concerned...

Romney did go on to eventually answer the original question but it took him four or five tries. To bad politics isn't more like baseball because Mr. Romney you sir, would be "outta there" **use best baseball umpire voice**

An open letter to al Democrats

To whom it may concern,

Are you happy with the job Barack Obama has done? Has he ended the unconstitutional wars? Has he stopped the spending? Has he closed Guantanamo Bay? Has he brought jobs to America? Has he strengthened the U.S. Dollar? Has he reduced Global Warming? Has he built up the middle class? Has he reduced unemployment?

The answer to all these questions: No!

Ron Paul and Jobs and Unemployment in America

So you want to know what Ron Paul will do to get jobs back to America?

First, it is not the Governments job to get jobs to America. It is the Governments job to make sure our money supply is in good shape so business owners can hire more people.

Imagine if you paid no income tax, what could you do with that money? What could every business in America do if their tax burden was reduced to almost nothing... Answer: they would expand their businesses and HIRE MORE PEOPLE!

The current boated Government monster we have in Washington is sucking the very life blood out of every American in our nation.

Youtube and the Election - How Copyright Loopholes Shape an Election

If you have ever uploaded a video to Youtube chances are you've received an email like this one:

Dear {username},

Your video, {title}, may have content that is owned or licensed by {company}.

No action is required on your part; however, if you are interested in learning how this affects your video, please visit the Content ID Matches section of your account for more information.

Sincerely,
- The YouTube Team

Like me you, presumably, thought:

1. Why so serious?

2. But it was only two seconds of a video from an obscure 1983 horror flick.

3. I know the song is new but it is only a video of me playing Gears of War III, plus I linked to the song.

4. What the heck - I am promoting {insert artist ad song title here}, doesn't it drive business to the artists like that wedding video featuring that song by Chris Brown. It got 40 million hits and the song made tons of money from Itunes downloads.


I will now tear back the veil and educate you on how exactly Youtube and others can know about, track, and delete videos that are posted for Copyright infringement.

Youtube compares each and every upload against a HUGE database of submitted reference files. Below is an image of a heat map showing how the brain of this system works.

Here we can see the reference file, something a user uploaded to Youtube, being compared to the user generated content, the record label. The system compares every moment of one to the other to see if there's a match. This means Youtube can identify a match even if the copy uses just a portion of the original file, plays it in slow motion, and has degraded audio or video.

The scale and speed of this system is truly breathtaking -- we're not just talking about a few videos, we're talking about over 100 years of video every day between new uploads and the legacy scans we regularly done across all of the content on the site. And when compared those 100 years of video, are being compared against millions of reference files in their database. It'd be like 36,000 people staring at 36,000 monitors each and every day without as much as a coffee break.

So how do we, normal everyday people who just want to upload our neighbor running over a sprinkler while cutting the grass while listening to Beyonce on a radio, get around it?

Good question, unfortunately Youtube and Media Cartel members have spent a lot of cash trying to figure out a way to stop you and for the most part pretty much have a great way to stop Copyright infringement form happening.

I must legally say also to figure out a way around the Copyright is illegal and you are committing a crime when you do it.

But Mr. Black aren't you being a little harsh after all my little brother skateboarding with Blink 182 on in the background is hardly something anyone cares about or should spend time or money to come after me...

While I agree some record companies and like company do not agree. Lest we forget the "Minnesota Mom Hit With $1.5 Million Fine for Downloading 24 Songs".

With all that said... not all hope is lost. There is a provision in the Copyright law entitled "Fair Use". It is written in ambiguous lawyer-speak specifically for the purpose of not making things clear and to difficult for the average publicly educated individual to know what t make of it.

So how does this relate to the election of 2012...

I am glad you asked... When a copyright infringement pops up and the appropriate "owner" is notified there are three usage policies, or choices, Block, Track or Monetize. If a rights owner specifies a Block policy, the video will not be viewable on YouTube. If the rights owner specifies a Track policy, the video will continue to be made available on YouTube and the rights owner will receive information about the video, such as how many views it receives. For a Monetize policy, the video will continue to be available on YouTube and ads will appear in conjunction with the video. The policies can be region-specific, so a content owner can allow a particular piece of material in one country and block the material in another.

Great... Block, Track, Monetize... So what? Again, good question... Here's what. Let's say you are a media cartel member (i.e. record company, TV network, etc) who does not want a particular candidate to win an upcoming election. When Youtube blows up with: TV news clippings, patriotic picture shows with quotes, endless hours of Fox News doing some bad reporting on the individual, heck even a late night talk show host talking about how much the candidate is being ignored, the "owners" of said programming simply "block" all usage of all material with a Copyright.

And that my friend is how big Corporations control our media and the internet to sway in their favor or for/against a political figure or topic.

Say it aint so JJ, say it aint so... I am sorry gentle reader it is so. Don't believe me try it out for yourself. Post a video to Youtube, wait, and watch. If there is a copyright on the material used you WILL get a notice about it and depending on the subject matter it may or may not be blocked.

I have been a "straw poll" of my own and it seems as though a disproportionate number of Ron Paul videos and clips and audio are being blocked.

Take Henry a thirty something who uploaded a video of Ron Paul on Fox News put a portion of a Green Day song, wham-o blocked. As a test "Henry" uploaded a portion of Mitt Romney on Fox News, from a few minutes later on in the broadcast, added the same exact Green Day audio and what do you know... no block.

Mr. Henry decided to get all scientific on Youtube and uploaded a current clip of President Obama making an ass of himself doing something or another, this time he used a clip from that annoying Lady Gaga song - it doesn't matter which one they're all the same - and wait for it wait for it... block. Later he uploaded a clip of George W. Bush being praised for something no one cares about, used the exact same portion of the Lady Gaga song and... No block. As my Italian Uncle would say "Un-friggin-believable" or int he immortal word of Metallica "Sad but True".

But wait, you say, even though I am making money for THEM they still block my video... Yup, I am afraid so and technically they have every right to, again as long as your video doesn't fall into the "fair use" portion of the Copyright law.

To me this doesn't fall into the "do they have the right to or not" category. This whole topic falls into the, as my Italian uncle would say "are-you-friggin-kidding-me" department. After all I am promoting YOUR product. When my video goes viral and gets 40 million hits then yo will let me use the song or video. I am sorry my dear friend it is a brave new world and this is the law of the west, so to speak.

All is not lost...

There is a way to fight back.

1. Stop using Youtube - Yea right I am addicted. No it's true, you can actually go on the internet without going on Youtube or even Facebook.

2. Don't upload any videos To Youtube.

3. Use music, in your videos, that is free to use. Which music is free to use, you ask. Figure it out pal - I can only do so much for you. But "royalty free music" is not hard to come by - hint hint.

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY - Face to face free speech isn't regulated by Youtube or anyone else, for that matter - yet... It's free, there is nearly an inexhaustible amount and we don't even need to drill...

Free Speech... Use it or loose it...

Drudge Report Poll: Ron Paul leads over Romney by 6 points

Today on the Drudge Report there is an online poll to pick the winner in Iowa. Currently Ron Paul is in the lead with 30.84% next is Mitt Romney with 24.57% third is Rick Santorum with 17.4%!

This is great news for everyone who believes in the Constitution and wants to restore liberty back to the United States Government and control the bloated Government Bureaucracy monster that has taken over.

Obama is Pinocchio - And his nose is Growing

Among the many broken promises, and there are maaaannnnyyyy, the most recent broken promise is the closing of Guantanamo Bay detention center (prison) in Cuba.

Weather you think it should be open or not is not the issue in this blog posting today.

The point today is simple.

Obama promised, hand on heart, that he would close Guantanamo and he has not. He made pomp and circumstance around closing Guantanamo yet it not only remains open he recently signed the NDAA which keeps Guantanamo open it allows for American citizens to be detained, locked up, indefinitely up "suspicion" of being "connected" (read having ties) to any terrorist group.

That's right President Obama or any President that is after him can detain indefinitely an American, without trial, without being charged, without the right to a lawyer, for simply being "suspected" of having "ties" to "terrorist groups".

Here are the questions I have...
What defines "ties" to terrorist groups?
What defines "terrorist group"?
Why is there not rioting in the streets over this new bill?

In the words of my Italian Uncle... What-the-friggin-heck is going on?

Of all the candidates there is only one that voted against the NDAA (one of only 7 that voted against the bill at all) and that candidate is Ron Paul. If for no other reason vote Ron Paul so we can repeal the NDAA immediately!

Rol Paul takes lead in Iowa as of Jan 2, 2012

A new two day tracking poll from Public Policy Polling finds that Ron Paul is still leading the race in Iowa just one day before voters take to the polls.

The race between Paul and Romney is still tight with Paul holding at 20 percent, according to the poll, and Romney at 19 percent.
